You will need to learn the points numbered 1, 4 and 5 on the engine diagram below, at the start of your test you may be asked to open the bonnet and answer one "tell me" question.
You need to open the bonnet and tell the examiner how you’d do the check if you’re asked one of the questions below.
We will train you during lessons to open the bonnet and how to answer the questions correctly.
Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that the engine has sufficient oil.
"Identify dipstick by pointing don't touch the engine , describe check of oil level against the minimum and maximum markers."
